  perfect for summer day camp

  I grabbed this for my 9-year-old daughter right before her summer day camp started last Monday. She always complains about stiff hats digging into her forehead, but the front part of this cap is actually pretty soft and flexible. She managed to keep it on her head the entire Wednesday afternoon when her group went to the community pool. The mesh in the back lets the breeze through, so her hair wasn't completely soaked in sweat when I picked her up in the carpool line. I mainly got it because her scalp burns so easily through her fine hair during those long hours outside. It survived getting shoved into her wet backpack next to a damp towel without losing its shape permanently. If you have kids who are picky about how things feel on their head during hot outdoor activities, this fits nicely without being rigid.

  Kids’ hats easily get dirty when they play outside, but this one dries pretty quickly after a simple wash. The mesh fabric doesn’t hold much water, so it can be used again after hanging for a while. The semi-soft shape didn’t collapse badly, and it still fits well when worn again. The brim, sun protection, and breathability are all useful for daily outdoor use. For kids who play outside often, the easy care really makes it convenient.

  Been using this hat for my kid’s outdoor practices the past couple weeks, and it’s held up really well. The mesh back keeps airflow going, which helps a lot here in the heat, and the UPF protection gives me some peace of mind during long games. Fit is adjustable and sits comfortably without leaving marks. The crown isn’t too stiff, so it feels more relaxed than those bulky caps. It’s simple, lightweight, and does exactly what we need for everyday sports use.
